Taguig Cityhood Day
Today, 08 December 2009, marks the second year that Taguig celebrates its Cityhood.
Through Proclamation 1663 signed on 12 November 2008 by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita, the people of the City of Taguig are given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
The government has declared this date as a special (non-working) holiday throughout the City of Taguig.
